This page is short because there is not much to tell.

The app

HearDog runs on your Mac. Your recordings, your transcripts and your screen recordings are written to a folder you chose, and they stay there. Nothing is uploaded. There is no account to create and no library on our side.

The only thing the app ever sends over the internet is a one-time download of the speech model it transcribes with. After that it does not contact anyone again, including us. We never see your meetings, and we have built it so that we could not if we wanted to.

This website

If you type your email address into the form, we keep it so that we can tell you about HearDog. That is the only personal information this site collects.

We do not sell it. We do not share it. It does not go to advertisers, data brokers or anyone else. Ask us to delete it and we will, without asking why.

Cookies

Cookies are for dogs. This site does not set any.

No tracking pixels, no advertising tags, no third-party scripts. Even the fonts are served from this domain rather than from somebody else’s. If that ever changes, this page changes first.

Analytics

None at the moment. If we add any it will be the kind that counts visits without following people around the internet, and it will be named here before it is switched on.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. For this site the answer is almost always “one email address”. Write to us and it is done.
